Unlocking the Creative Potential: Exploring the Boundless Power of Imagination.

BACKGROUND.

Have you wondered how this one thing or situation you wanted desperately became a reality? But then there were other times that it did become true, but it was not what you thought you wanted.

This is why it is helpful to understand what you want first before you start desiring or creating with your emotions.

ONE EXAMPLE OF A DESIRED OUTCOME.

These are some examples:

In the movie The Little Princess, there is a specific scene where the characters are starving and have no food. The Little Princess tells Becky to tell her what she sees (what she wants to see). To imagine what she wants to smell, wear, and eat and act it out as if it is true at the worn-out table and chair.

The next day, they wake up to find that –what they created – is exactly what they had envisioned.

2 EXAMPLES OF UNDESIRED CREATIONS.

Think of the movie from Shriek III. Shriek, out of impatience and not being grounded, asked for something he thought he wanted but didn’t want. When his wish is granted, his perception shifts when the princess saves herself. So, ask yourself if what you want is really want you truly want.

Or consider the movie; It’s a Wonderful Life: in summary, the protagonist, George Bailey, in this story gives up his dream of going off to school to take over his family’s business while his brother, Harry, leaves the town to pursue higher education.

But when George tells the angel, Clarence, he wishes he never existed, and his want is granted, the whole situation changes. He saw with his eyes the girl of his dreams he had married, how differently she was, and how some of his community members were unjustly locked up.

He realized then that it was through his small acts of kindness and support that he impacted many of the lives in his community. In the small acts of conversation and advice he gives to others, his existence makes a difference in the lives he touches.

REFLECTION FOR CLARITY.

“Education [or experience] is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think [and reflect on those experiences]”

–       Albert Einstein.

Make sure to use your experience and reflect on them. If not daily, at least monthly. Do not go through life drifting through the waters with no sense or intentional direction.

Look and go back to specific scenes in your life or specific episodes; what were those moments you desired which put your full intention, where you put your focus and your soul’s emotions? What can you learn from those creations? How did it work out for you?

That could have been in prayer, or that could have been in your morning visualization every time you woke up or every time you went to sleep. Or in other modes of activity.

Sit down, journal, or go for a solo nature walk – whatever allows you to travel back to your memories easily and clearly. Think of your childhood timeframe, young adulthood, or even now in your current life.

HOW DO YOU CREATE?

You create in many ways. You create a life around you through your thoughts, words, and active imagination, whether that is returning to a conversation you had and changing its interaction.

Or looking a few steps forwards and creating what you want to see unfold in your life.

HOW CAN YOU CENTER YOURSELF TO CREATE WHAT IS IN YOUR HIGHEST GOOD?

Reflect.

Connect with your true essence.

To your true divine self. Speak to your scared guides and guardian angels to assist you in aligning yourself with your highest divine self.

3 Practices that assist you in aligning to your true core for creation in your path or direction(s):

  • One way is to simply request it. Communicate directly with your guides, your archangels, and your higher self. Speak with them directly because, yes, they know what you need at every moment, but you have free will, so they will not intervene if you don’t request it directly from them. Just think of going to the gym, and you are doing an exercise wrong. The person next to you will not fix your posture or spot you even though he/she knows you may need it (assuming they are interested in you). But they will not assist you if you don’t ask for help in the first place.
  • Another way is doing what you find fun and allowing yourself to be in flow, such as writing, drawing, dancing, yoga, etc. – there is not one way, and don’t let someone else tell you otherwise. Only you know what works best for you. Not your ego-self trying to please society in what is popular at the moment but what truly works for your soul self.
  • Heal your wounds. Reflect on any triggers that show up in different types of relationships. What patterns are reoccurring? Sit with them and ask your higher self and/or guide(s) what lesson(s) you should learn to release and truly let go.

3 WAYS TO CREATE ACTIVELY:

  1. Get up 15 minutes before you start your day and meditate. Maybe light a candle and start by thanking mother earth, your guides, your angels, and your higher self for all the blessings. Go on and be specific if you’d like. Start picturing with your eyes open or closed, and imagine how you want your day to unfold. Focus on the feeling. How do you want to feel for this day or the next week? What is the feeling you want to send and receive from the universe? Peacefulness, playfulness, love, etc., Start to feel that now. Bring it to the present moment (use as many senses). Surround yourself all around it as if it is hugging you tightly and lightly.
  2. Go out in nature. Go for a walk. As you walk and let your rational mind zoom out and your creative flow zoom in. You can start visualizing and creating as you walk every step or as you breathe and inhale every breath. I suggest having this walk longer than 15 minutes.
  3. Another way, but not the last, is to read a non-fiction book(s). Find a book that you find interesting and gives you a scratch in the head 😉. While reading, let go from the present moment and move to the inner world of the book and into your own inner world(s) as if interested in the book and conversing and recreating the scene(s) and/or readjusting it. This can also help to provide you with guidance along the way indirectly, as if answering any pending questions you may have or had about your life (in the recent past or the near future about decisions).

FINAL THOUGHTS.

As to not be so repetitive throughout. Do what works best for you.

These are only a few ways out of numerous ways to create. And today or next month, something may work but no longer work for the following months. So don’t feel out of place when you need to move on to another activity or rhythm.

Many Blessings,
